Wealth Management in Geneva

Independent, discretionary portfolio management built around your objectives — not a bank’s product shelf.

As an independent wealth manager in Geneva, Sussland & Co manages your portfolio with a single mandate: to grow and protect your capital in line with your goals and risk tolerance. Your assets stay with the custodian bank of your choice — we hold only the management mandate, which keeps your wealth secure and our advice free of product-selling conflicts.

Every mandate begins with a clear understanding of your objectives, time horizon and tolerance for risk. From there we build and actively manage a diversified portfolio, review it with you regularly, and coordinate — where useful — with your tax, pension and succession planning so the whole picture works together.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between a private bank and an independent wealth manager?

A private bank both holds your assets and manages them. An independent manager holds only a management mandate while your assets stay at a custodian bank of your choice — adding a layer of protection and removing product-selling conflicts.

What is the minimum to work with an independent wealth manager in Geneva?

Independent managers are generally more flexible than large private banks, often accepting mandates from CHF 250,000 to 500,000, whereas major Geneva private banks typically require CHF 1 to 5 million.

How are your fees structured?

We charge a transparent management fee based on assets under management, with no hidden retrocessions or product commissions. Any retrocessions we receive are rebated to you, so our only incentive is your portfolio’s performance.

Can I keep my existing bank?

Yes. Your assets stay at your current custodian bank — or another of your choosing — and we simply hold the management mandate. There is no need to move your capital to work with us.
